From OpenStreetMap. Other ones have a locked up file format, but sometimes you can get into the operating system and install OpenSource software. Here is a simple tutorial on how to install the latest Tomtom version on your PNA running. If nothing works out you should try other software like IGO or Garmin. Hi All, I've looked for a solution but can't seem to find it anywhere. I have no space left on my SSD drive C:, which is purely for my Windows 7 and Office applications. I have lots of disk capacity on my HHD drive D: where I install ALL other non essential software programs. Garmin basecamp, webupdater and several other Garming programs keep continue to install on what little space I have left on my C: drive. Is there nay way to install the Garmin programs on my D: drive???? I have THREE Garmin GPS devices, a Zumo 500, a Zumo 660 and a Oregon 600t. Tokyo godfathers dub. I can't create routes on my desktop without the software. What a frustrating problem, just because they left out the choice of drive install. I had the same dilemma recently, checked online and found the answer, as under: ***** Change the Default Installation folder C: Program Files **Type REGEDIT in RUN screen and click OK **Scroll to the key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE SOFTWARE Microsoft Windows CurrentVersion **On the right window, double click on the key PROGRAMFILESDIR and modify it to include the new path for the installation folder. - For example, D: Program Files would install all program files onto the D partition instead of C. -------- It was easy to do, but be careful as you go through it!! Now all my programs automatically go to my F: drive, which I want to happen. Cheers Margaret. Something that 95% of all software does. Thanks.i just want to see how it works or if it will work on our no name GPS.im downloading now 1.4GB 2008 HEMa map of AU.who knows maybe someday we can also have our 4x4 adventure.LOLHey Kukuk - Hollowman Could you post the UL links for maps and program please? - I have a 4wd and DO go offroad (so long as its not too muddy!!!!} I've spent ages getting Garmin to go on my 2din and like to compare it to Qzi, even if I do have to 'learn' how to use it - then maybe I can teach you how. It is very easy to install, just copy the files and folders to your SD card and off you go. You will need a serial to register it otherwise it just works as a demo. I have yet to find a system it won't work on CE4.2, CE5.0 & CE6.0 all work fine. The latest version can be downloaded from Cheers, Ian Cheers, IanCan I confirm then, that OziExplorer CE will install/run with no problems on any of these 'Chinese double din all-in-one' car units using the excellent guide from hollowman?
